We also do type-approval and certification of specific-type products manufacturers as a designated approval body.

Evaluation of special performances

Prior to the approval of the relevant Minister, we evaluate the performance of housing, which are not covered by the Performance Indication Standard.

Designated Certification Organization

We certify the performance as housing types based on the Housing Performance Indication Standard of Japan.

Technical Evaluation as a Private Organization

Evaluation of newly developed technologies

We issue certificates after fair examinations of newly developed building technologies in order to support their practical use.

Structural design review

We perform technical review of structural design projects on the request of building officials.

Fire safety design review

We perform technical review of fire safety design projects on the request of building officials or owners.

Judgment business for existing buildings earthquake proofing diagnoses.

We also perform quakeproof diagnosis and judgment of validity of quakeproof repair plan of existing buildings to which we apply quakeproof repair promotion law.

We also evaluate the performance of wooden structure joints and the mitigation performance of formaldehyde emission from building materials.
